Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 12β10 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Nizza at (212) 956-1800; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, nizzanyc.com.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 2,335 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in New York.
New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great experience with excellent gluten-free options! Itβs really nice that they have a separate menu for celiacs and those avoiding gluten. As for the food, the gluten-free pizza was a bit too thick for my tasteβoverall it was decent, though I've definitely had better. The oven-baked gnocchi was nice, and the focaccia was absolutely excellent! On top of that, the restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Highly recommend!

Our waitress gave us great service. We connected on our Air Force background. When we ordered an aperosel spritz, she informed us they had them frozen if would like to try them that way. They were fabulous! We shared a salad and a pizza and they brought out the salad in two bowls. After dinner, she brought us a thank you biscotti cookie! We had a great experience!

We loved our experience at Nezza! Great gluten free Italian near Broadway theatres. They were very knowledgeable (had a whole different menu) and even had complimentary gluten free bread ahead of the meal and a gluten free biscotti afterwards! We got the Bianca and Spaghetti Frutti di Mare and Brick Oven Roasted Muscles for apps. All great gluten free! (Forgot to take some photos before I ate most of them) Our server Luke was super helpful answering questions, making sure our waters were full, taking our photo, and kindly making conversation when my little brother asked if he was excited for the live action Moana while he was delivering the food.

Amazing restaurant with an outdoor seating area that is pet friendly. We were so grateful to find Nizza after the Puerto Rican parade. The service was great, food was incredible and they even offered water to our dogs. 10/10 experience and will be back. Their pizza is amazing!

We visited this restaurant before our broadway show during a trip to New York. The atmosphere was great and it was completely full (weβre glad we booked ahead!). There was a separate gluten free menu suitable for coeliacs and everything was explained really clearly along with cross-contamination measures. Our meal started with non-gluten free and gluten free focaccia which was delicious. We enjoyed started of artichoke hearts and the beet salad. The ingredients were so fresh and the flavour was delicious. Our mains and desserts were also great. We felt this restaurant offered the best service we had in New York. It didnβt feel pushy at all and the waitress seemed to genuinely want us to enjoy our visit. She even let us stay a bit longer to enjoy the rest of our drinks before the show.
